The 10th International Slag Valorisation Symposium will be held at the Provinciehuis in Leuven.
The Provinciehuis houses the board and employees of the province of Flemish Brabant, and also offers modern conference rooms for meetings and events. The venue is located right next to Leuven’s train and bus station, making it convenient for local and international visitors.

How to get to the venue
Bike, public transport, or car
The venue is next to the railway tracks and only a short walk from Leuven’s train and bus station.
Bike
There is a separate cycle path next to the Leuven ring road where you can cycle in both directions. You can park your bike next to or under the building. For longer cycling routes, see fietssnelwegen.be.
Public transport
The Provinciehuis is within walking distance of Leuven’s train and bus station. If you walk outside the station, turn left on Roger Van Overstraetenplein.
Car
From the E40, drive onto the E314 and take exit 15 towards Leuven centrum. Follow the route to the Leuven ring road, continue towards Tienen and Diest, pass the Tiense Poort, and follow the station direction to Roger Van Overstraetenplein.
Parking
Visitors can use the Provinciehuis parking on level -2. Parking spaces are not guaranteed. Validate your parking ticket before departure at the payment machine in the entrance hall.
Using GPS
Some GPS software does not recognise the address “Provincieplein”. In that case, enter “Tiensevest – junction with Justus Lipsiusstraat” as the street name. For Waze, search for “Parking Provinciehuis”.
